Speak Loudly Book Drop

If you read our post yesterday about Speak, I told you at the end of the post that we would be giving you more information about something we wanted to do in order to spread the word about Speak and the attempts to get this book banned.  The time is now.  On Sunday Georgia from Eve's Fan Garden texted me regarding Speak and we began talking about how awesome the YA community is in rallying together and we knew we wanted to do something!  We came up with an idea, and so together with Eve's Fan Garden we've created the Speak Loudly Book Drop. 

So here is how it will work. Go out, buy a copy of SPEAK, and then sometime between now and October 2nd (the last day of Banned Book Week) leave that book somewhere in a public location where it is sure to be found. Easy! Once you have dropped your book, be sure to blog about it so we can see. You can add your link below as soon as your post is up. 

Georgia created a cool book plate you can download and print up if you like, to place in the book you will leave. Also, we are encouraging everyone to leave a note in the book telling them why you wanted to leave a copy of Speak for them to find.
