Hi Everyone! Today I am happy to be a stop on the blog tour for the book Eternal Starling by Angela Corbett. Check out the review below and leave a comment on the post to be entered into a contest to win the book!

Synopsis from Goodreads - A love so strong, even eternity can’t separate them.
Evie Starling has lived a relatively uneventful life hanging out with friends, gossiping about boys, and driving her 1966 Mustang. All of that changes when she moves to Gunnison, Colorado, to start college and meets two mysterious men.
For centuries, Alex Night and Emil Stone have yearned for Evie—but they each have their own reasons for wanting to be with her. When both men claim to be her soul mate and tell her about an unbelievable past, Evie learns that she’s not the person she thought she was. Soon, Evie finds herself in the middle of an age-old battle between the Amaranthine Society—the soul protectors, and the Daevos Resistance—the soul destroyers. With a past she doesn’t understand, and a future rife with danger, Evie has to decide who she can trust. But Alex and Emil aren’t the only ones who want Evie, and her soul is about to become the rope in an eternal tug-of-war.
My Review - I loved, loved, loved Eternal Starling. Evie is my kind of girl. She's fearless, self-sufficient, drives a vintage car, and likes what she likes, take it or leave it. She has a very happy life, and a great best friend she shares a house with while attending college. When she meets Alex -and later Emil- she has no clue what she is in for. Both men tell her they are her soul mate, and she learns about a past she never knew existed, but at the same time explains some things that she's been experiencing. The Daevos Resistance is after her soul, they don't want her to be with her soul mate, and Evie is forced into a battle to save her soul and two boys she may or may not love.
This story had me paying attention from the first chapter. Alex is the first guy Evie meets and he has a way of grabbing your attention and not letting go. I loved reading the relationship between the two of them develop, Alex is such a gentleman and treats Evie like any girl would want to be treated. Through Angela's writing I swear I could almost see the love in Alex's eyes myself when he would look at Evie. Just as you are getting to love Alex, and the two of the together, Angela Corbett has Alex pull what I like to call an "Edward Cullen". Due to the danger he feels he puts Evie in, he thinks he needs to protect Evie with some distance. At first I was quite upset about this... but then here comes amazing boy number two.
Enter Emil... holy heck the boy is sexy as all get out. Just wait until you read how he introduces himself to Evie! My mouth dropped open, and I giggled in surprise. I can honestly say this is the first time when I have no idea which way a character is going to go in her choice of guys. Both guys are amazingly written, although very different. I am leaning a bit towards Alex, but I honestly have no clue how Evie is going to choose between them!
Eternal Starling is romantic and full of swoon worthy moments. One of my favorite parts is when both guys show up on a family camping trip Evie is on with her parents. And speaking of parents, I love the fact that Evie's parents are prevalent in the novel and they both love and care about their daughter. A lot of times the parents are pretty much MIA, so it was a refreshing change.
That's all I'm going to say because I don't want to give too much away. I promise that the book is full of love, romance, surprise, intrigue, mystery and two hot boys! What more could you want???

Sounds like a fun read! And I went to college in Colorado too, so that definitely catches my interest! I'm a bit wary of love triangles these days, but if you say this one's so good, I'll give it a shot!
Smiles!

Sounds like such a great read

I'm kinda on the fence with this one. I love the idea of secret societies all hunting for the same girl, but I'm so burned out on love triangles and insta-love, which it kinda sounds like this book relies on heavily. So, I think it's just a maybe? for now for me.

Sounds like my kind of book!
Thanks for the review
